The window for submissions closes on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at 2:00 PM EST. When the clock hits 2:00 PM EST, submissions will be locked in!
A few tips to ensure your project makes it across the finish line:
- Submit Your Work NOW: Don't wait until the final minutes. We strongly encourage you to submit the work you have so far, even if you plan to make final tweaks. You can edit your submission as many times as you like before the deadline.
- Video Requirements: Your video must show your project functioning — a trigger event happening and your agent responding. A slideshow, a voiceover pitch, or a general AI generated demo won't qualify. Keep your best moments in the first 3 minutes, since judges aren't required to watch beyond that. Double-check that your video plays correctly in your Devpost submission.
- Access Check: Your submission must link to a public repository inside the gitlab-ai-hackathon group — the URL should start with https://gitlab.com/gitlab-ai-hackathon/. Make sure your repo includes your source code, assets, and setup instructions, and that an open source license is visible in the Project information section at the top of the repo page. We cannot judge submissions with private, missing, or incorrectly linked repos.
